Our first ride of the year was a huge success!

Friday was the windiest day I think any of us have ever seen, but a few souls heroically decided to brave the elements and make camp. You could say that it was a rockin friday night.

In the morning, everyone got ready for the first day of riding. After a couple tack mishaps we managed to hit the trail.

One group was lead by Karen, our gracious host for the ride, the other group was lead by Elaine. Both rides had a fantastic time, stopped for lunch on the trail, and maneuvered through the forest that had been torn up a little bit in the storm.

After the ride, we had our first official potluck of the year.

All in all, we had an amazing time. This was the biggest turn out OTRA has had in years, so here’s no many more good rides like this one!
